J. Joseph Marr, MD

Previously, Joe served as President of BioMed, LLC, a medical and biotechnology consulting company, since 1999 and as General Partner of Pacific Rim Ventures, a venture capital firm, since 2000. He has held positions at Immulogic Pharmaceutical Corporation from 1996 to 1999, serving most recently as President, CEO, and member of the Board of Directors. Joe previously served as Vice President, Research and Development of Ribozyme Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and as Senior Vice President, Discovery Research at Monsanto Searle Research and Development. He received a Doctorate of Medicine from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and has held professorial positions at University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, St. Louis University School of Medicine, and Washington University School of Medicine.
